We have known each other for a long time and for those of you who know us, you all will know what a crazy story this is. We knew each other since kindergarten and went through every year of school together, except for our senior year of high school. Mathew moved away and we lost touch since we took different paths. After graduating college my parents sent me and my best friend Natalie to New York as our graduation gifts. Natalie and I went out to dinner and I noticed Mathew sitting at a table with a group of his friends. I went up to him and he looked just as surprised as I did seeing him all the way in New York. He was on business and was there for a couple more weeks so we exchanged numbers to keep in touch and have lunch together. Over the next two months all we did was talk on the phone. Mathew finally asked me out on a real date and here we are engaged! |
